Towards the 72nd anniversary of August Revolution (8/19/1945-8/19/2017) and National Day 9/2 (9/2/1945-9/2/2017), People’s Army Newspaper combined with VIETART Communication JSC to establish the art program “Radiant Vietnam” at 8 p.m, Friday, September 1st, 2017 at Hanoi Opera House, live broadcast on VTC1 channel.

The successful of August Revolution and the National Day of September 2nd, 1945, entered in national history as a brilliant milestone, marking the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on Ba Dinh Square, giving birth of Democratic Republic of Vietnam; opening a new era – the era of independence for our nation.
“Radiant Vietnam” was solemnly organized, worthy with great stature of the National Day, September 2nd, creating a lively, proud and trusting atmosphere among the people; introducing to all classes of people in the country, international friends and Vietnamese compatriots who have lived far away from the motherland, the results of national construction during the past 72 years under the leadership of Vietnam Communist Party and the light of Ho Chi Minh thought.
The program has the participation of top artists in the Vietnamese music scene: People’s Artist Quang Tho and Thu Hien, with many famous artists and singers: Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Dang Duong, Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Khanh Linh and MC – Second-best Thuy Van. Especially, besides the art performances, “Radiant Vietnam” has grateful activities, giving gifts to families of policy, families with meritorious services to the revolution.
Along with the organization of performances at the Opera House, the Organizing Committee also carried out offering incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Bac Son Memorial as a good gesture to express gratitude to the generations had laid down for independence and freedom of the nation.
In recent years, VIETART has been the pioneer to organize special art programs celebrating the national holiday. Typical as some programs: Soi Nho Soi Thuong, Country Full of Joy, Sentiment of October.
With these meanings, “Radiant Vietnam” promises to be a remarkable stamp in the celebrations of Independence Day in Hanoi particularly and in the country generally.
