Celebrating the 72nd anniversary of August Revolution (8/19/1945-8/19/2017) and National Day 9/2 (9/2/1945-9/2/2017), People’s Army Newspaper combined with VIETART Communication JSC to establish the 3rd art program “Radiant Vietnam” at Friday, September 1st, 2017.
The program included meaningful sequence of activities. On the morning of 01 September, the Organizing Board and the representatives of sponsors attended the incense offering ceremony for heroic martyrs at Bac Son Monument and visited Relic House 67 – President Ho Chi Minh Monument area, showed deeply grateful to the generations who sacrificed their blood for national independence and reunification of the country. In particular, the music night “Radiant Vietnam” took place at 08 pm on the same day at Hanoi Opera House, which was broadcasted live on VTC1 channel and Vietnam Defense Television has left a good impression. “Radiant Vietnam” art project has been well prepared in the past three months; elaborate modernly; worth with of the great stature of the National Day. In particular, the program also combined with touching reports on the August Revolution, the National Day 9/2 and reports on more than 70 years of national construction and development, 30 years of innovation and international integration.
The program has the participation of top artists in the Vietnamese music scene: People’s Artist Quang Tho and Thu Hien, with many famous artists and singers: Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Dang Duong, Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Khanh Linh and MC – Second-best Thuy Van.
Before the start of “Radiant Vietnam”, State leaders, city leaders, donor representatives and delegates attending the show were solemnly welcomed at the Mirror Room of The Opera House.
The “Radiant Vietnam” is like a story told in three parts. Part one: “Sun on Ba Dinh” was grandiose with a three-song repertory “Hanh quan xa” (Do Nhuan), “19 thang 8” (Xuan Oanh), and “Duong chung ta di”(music by Huy Du, poetry by Xuan Sach) with performances by Meritorious artist Viet Hoan, artist Duong Duong, singer Trong Tan.
A meaningful activity of “Radiant Vietnam” art program is to give presents to poor students. In the autumn atmosphere, the Study Promotion Fund of Dan Tri Newspaper in cooperation with the Organizing Committee of the program, decided to award 250 scholarships worth 2 million VND each for 250 students to pass the difficult to study well.
At the beginning of the second chapter: “Radiant Faith” is the reportage “Praising the Party, Uncle Ho; the heroes and the future of the country” which helped the spectator to understand the indomitable spirit of the impersonal ones who have become the foundation of pride, sense of responsibility. They are green land for the love of the next generation to bear fruit.
Continuing the flow of proud emotion are the songs: “Bai ca hy vong” (composed Khanh Linh); “Duong cay dam dang” (by An Chung); “Tu nguyen” (composed Truong Quoc Khanh) and “Loi ca dang bac” (by Trong Loan) performed by singer Khanh Linh, People’s Artist Thu Hien.
Over the history of building and defending, the Vietnamese people have proved their power of vitality, durability and permanence. In the depth of bonds that make up the love for motherland, there is a very spiritual motherly love, a passionate love affair, a passionate labor of love, and above all else, is the national solidarity, flesh and blood ties from the land strip to remote islands. This is also the theme of the end: “The glory of Vietnam”
The end of “Radiant Vietnam” has deposited these sentiments into unforgettable reminiscences through five songs: “Me yeu con” (Nguyen Van Ty); “Tren cong truong ron tieng ca” (by Ngo Quoc Tinh), “Noi dao xa” (by The Song) and “Radiant Vietnam” (composed by Quang Vinh), performed by singer Anh Tho, artist Dang Duong, singer Trong Tan, People’s Artist Quang Tho.
At the end of the program, representatives of the Organizing committee, delegates, representatives of the Sponsors went to the stage to give flowers to the artists, closing the music night full of emotions.
